For the past several decades, the study of attention deficit disorder (ADD or ADHD) has captured the interest of medical, psychological, and educational researchers. The scientific investigation into the disorder has focused on a myriad of aspects including: epidemiology, etiology, methods of diagnosis, and procedures for treatment. It is likely that no other psychomedical disorder of childhood has been so well study as ADD.
